The team at Folly Farm EC are well known for their fun and friendly approach, but we offer professionalism and experience too.
You are in safe hands when you come to Folly Farm. We are very proud to hold the maximum 5 star rated licence with Huntingdonshire district council and be an approved pony club centre. We offer a combination of traditional and natural horsemanship and believe that communication between horse and rider is key!
We welcome riders of all ages (with no upper or lower age limits) and abilities and offer a wide range of ridden and non-ridden activities. We have everything from tiny tot lessons , children’s and adult lessons (from beginner to experienced riders), jumping lessons, horseball and Pony Club.
We also offer children’s and adults camps, natural horsemanship lessons, pony days and home school sessions. We even have a course to teach parents how to look after a horse if you’re considering buying a horse or pony for yourself or your pony mad child/ren.
We are unique in that we do not feel large group lessons on the whole benefit children or adult riders and therefore the majority of our lessons are either private or semi-private meaning lessons are tailored to your individual needs and you can achieve your riding goals quicker!

Children’s lessons
Horse riding is not only fun but helps with concentration, gross motor skills and confidence. Children learn about looking after and caring for another being, enjoy being out in the fresh air and form friendships that last a lifetime! We have a range of children’s lessons available from tiny tot to experienced riders.
Adult lessons
For adults especially at times like this, when stress levels can be high, horse riding is the perfect treatment. It’s great for your health and well-being and enjoying the fresh air and being close to nature does wonders for your mood. Even a short ride on a horse can make a really difference in lowering your stress and anxiety levels. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to riding or more experienced we have a horse for you.
Natural Horsemanship lessons
Natural horsemanship sessions are a fantastic way of developing a deeper understanding and better communication with horses.
Whether you have a difficult or spooky horse or would like to build a better bond with your own horse or would
like to work with one of ours to develop your skills we tailor sessions completely to you. Please get in touch for

The Pony Club
The Pony Club is the worlds largest youth organisation and Folly Farm EC is an approved Pony Club Linked Centre. As a Pony Club member you can work towards our range of Achievement Badges, Mini Achievement Badges and Competition Badges, learning vital skills along the way!
You can also improve your riding and horse care skills by working up through The Pony Club Efficiency Tests. For more information on The Pony Club visit www.pcuk.org
Home Education
FFEC is keen to support home educated children. Whether new to riding or looking to develop their ridden skills
or learn more about stable management. We offer weekday lessons, volunteering opportunities and Home Ed
Pony Club sessions. Contact us for more information.
Pony Days, Birthdays and more!
We hold a range of pony days, camps and other activities in the school holidays. Clinics such as Horse ball, Arena Eventing and Show jumping take place on a regular basis.
